I 20:36:49 Initialising SPTI... I 20:36:49 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 20:36:49 Found 1 DVD±RW! then it stops and says....Device not ready(logical unit not ready, cause not repotable). please help
mmalves Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 For some reason your burner doesn't like the media you're using. Look in Tools/Drive/Capabilities to see if that media is supported. You might also want to check for firmware updates (there's an option for that in the Tools/Drive menu).

lfcrule1972 Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 How old is the DVD drive ? Does it still play DVD's and or CDs ok ? What discs are you using, ideally the Media ID on the discs if you happened to notice before the drive went off ?
