cathater Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Well I've never had any trouble using imgburn, default settings, on dvd's but I thought I'd ask before I screw up the girlfriends cd sony cd camera turned itself of last night, and won't turn on anymore disk is always unreadable in computer till camera finalizes it I'm not sure what finalize even covers but do you think we can do something with imgburn? or start searching for another sony cd camera to finalize for us???? thanks guys
mmalves Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Try to read from the CD using IsoBuster. You might be able to extract the photos/videos that way.
volvofl10 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 you can try closing the disc with ImgBurn
cathater Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 will clear tampering with her wedding photos tonight will let you know what happens
cathater Posted September 10, 2007 Author Posted September 10, 2007 isobuster displayed directory of files assume run and extract is correct command but it won't till you pay hrrump! could be a good choice for the disk with the peeled tinfoil though(when we find it again) we have located another sony cd camera, will not be trying close on imgburn didn't even try to open with imgburn, went straight back into camera
blutach Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Some cams just like some types of media and are very iffy with others. I had enormous trouble with my cam when I got it, cos I wanted to use +RW media, but it didn't like it one bit. Yes, ISOBuster Pro can extract. Regards
gzegosz Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I have similar problem - i have forget to finalize cd on camera and i have just copied files from cd to my hdd. i tryed to copy them back and finalize cd on camera but it does not work. i also tryed evrythig you posted here but it does not work too. is there any way i can rip unfinalized dvd movie to avi?
