No writers detected!?

Yea i wanna burn an iso file to a cd, but it says it can't find and writers. How can i fix this?

Please post the log (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn logs).

thats the log, but i dont think it says anything about writers

Maybe you don't have a writer then?

If you open ImgBurn and switch to write mode (Ctrl-Alt-W), check the top right panel. Post what it says there. Looks like you only have a CD reader.

There is no writing there. But if i don't have a writer, i can't make a cd?

yup . no writer means you cant make a cd .

your drive is only a cd rom drive, which means it can read cd's but not write to them

 

IF you do have a cd writer or dvd writer, they are not installed properley , hence ImgBurn cant "see" them

Then slot it in and connect the cords!

Firey's got an old clunker upstairs with just a CDR in it. It's a P3, 500, I think. Maybe it will be worth something one day.
