pentium_5ghz Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Hi, I just bought an external samsung dual layer dvd writer, and was trying to burn an xbox 360 game to a blank dl dvd+r. I did everything right, I think: saved the .ISO, created a .dvd file with the layer break info, set the layerbreak on IMGBurn to 1913760, and started burning to a VERBATIM dvd+r dual layer. Then IMGBurn burns the image (100% completion), and, in "verify" mode, the following message appears at the 50% mark: I/O ERROR! DEVICE [0.0.0] TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182M SB05 (E: USB) SciStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 28 00 00 1D 33 A0 00 00 01 00 Interpretation: Read (10) – Sector: 1913760 Sense Area: 70 00 04 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 3E 02 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Timeout on Logical Unit When I insert the dvd into the xbox360, it says something like "invalid disk" What am I doing wrong??? I already wasted 2 dl dvds and they aren´t exactly cheap! I have the latest firmware for the dvd and, of course, my 360 is modded.
mmalves Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Please post the log from that burn (you can find it at Help/ImgBurn logs).
dontasciime Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 you do not have to manually set laybreak if .DVD is present )eg right click on .DVD and choose burn with ImgBurn and make sure your using the latest firmware for your writer and set booktype to DVD-ROM and burn at 2.4. use xbc2.5 and it will create .DVD , the way you typed it appears as if your manually creating .DVD file and make sure in xbc2.5 you tick complete and not just partition The full log would help as pointed out above.
