immortalmaster Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 (edited) OK Here it is. Just picked up a 3 pack of single sided / Dual Layer disks, I wasnt sure if I could just go ahead and burn or if there is a particular setup that differs from regular DVD+R Disks. I have a lightscribe dual layer burner that is new, so all is good there . I was wondering if I had to change some settings in IMG Burn itself ? BTW I'm trying to burn an ISO , if that helps any... Was reading the other DL post just before mine. I was wondering if it made a difference if it was a movie file or a game file being burned. The ISO I created is a game file. Thanks... blutach Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 No, just burn away. But ensure your firmware is up to date and you are using Verbatim +R DL disks (MID MKM-001) Regards
immortalmaster Posted October 6, 2007 Author Posted October 6, 2007 sheeeeeez, ONLY ones at the store were theses memorex DVD+R DL disks, they werent cheap but i knew to use verbatim, I could kick myself. I just checked in MY Computer and it says this disk has 32 gb free space wtf is that about. Any way I did just go ahead and try to start the burn and it just sat there went to 100% buffering and then nothin else. SO as you have said in many posts around here I have seen . "Verbatim" everything else is crap. Im gonna let this thing buffer a bit longer but i think i got the shaft here. Oh yea when you say firmware, do you mean on my Lightscribe burner, and if so, any clue how i check that. Thanks for everything..
blutach Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Taken the others back, unopened. Tell the store, they are shite. Check for firmware updates via the Tools - Drive menu. Regards
