303x Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Using XPSP2 and latest IMGBurn The program burned the .iso file itself to the disc I thought burning .iso files would burn what's in the file and not the file itself?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 It does burn the content of it if you burn it properly. Did you follow the correct guide? You use 'Write' mode for burning images, not 'Build' mode.
303x Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) Yes, the guide is helpful, thank you. But... it appears the file is too big to fit on a normal CD-R anyhow The CD-R is 359,843 sectors The file is 441,934 sectors So I have to burn this to DVD? sorry for stupid questions... it's just the modes thing throws me off thank you for a great product!! I'll be making a donate for sure! Edited October 17, 2007 by 303x
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 What's the file you're trying to burn? Once loaded into write mode, if it's just showing up as a MODE1 image, yeah it must be a DVD one.
