corv123 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 recently when I try to burn a dvd, I get the error message "failed to set write parameters", until last week I never got this message. I have tried to find where to set write parameters but I guess I can't find the proper setting. my write speed is set on "auto", I am using a memorex MRX-53ole external burner. This might be a simple fix but I am a novice and appreciate any suggestions or help. thanks!
volvofl10 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 try changing the write speed from auto to 4x and see if that cures it. post a log file of a burn in here as well
