chewy Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 welcome to the forum looks like that's a pretty old philips/benq drive never tried dual layer with my benq 1620, if I did I would only trust verbatim 2.4x disks since the firmwares are over 2 years old yours is even older http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1941 and you are using ritek 8x disks? might be an exercise in futility Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
alebeek Posted October 24, 2007 Author Share Posted October 24, 2007 (edited) its a pretty old philid drive yeah, normally i`m using 2.4x imation disks and works fine. now i`m using memorex 4-8x disks. do you have any advise in which drive i need to use ?. or can you please tell me which one you are using. many thanks so far.
