JustinQPR Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Recently got a pack of RiDisc Xtreme 2.4x DVD +R DL discs off eBay as I'd read on a few sites that the are compatable with buring Xbox 360 games. They arrived this morning, tried burning a game a few minutes ago but it wouldn't work. I've burned many 360 games using ImgBurn in past, with quite a few different DL discs and not had any problems, just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or the discs just simply aren't compatible? http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/3107/14098243ep8.jpg Here's the log file I got..... dontasciime Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 Your writer does not like those, Buy some verbatim ones and you should have more luck you could update firmware and try again http://www.sonynec-optiarc.de/uploads/Zs/R...170A_GN_104.ZIP take out any disc in the writer and keep draw closed then double click AD7170A_GN_104.exe and in any window that opens double check you drive is listed in the highlighted box b4 saying OK, Once updated reboot your computer for Windows to pick up device again. If after update you get same error then get some verbatim dual layer and burn at 2.4x

JustinQPR Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 Cheers for the quick feedback guys. I usually go with Verbatim discs, but I saw these going cheap on eBay and thought I'd see if they were any good, obviously not.
