Yesterday I burned one dvd fine with nero after going through a bunch of advice in a few different forums. Next time I tried, failed burn, and for the next 6 tries after that. I also get an error when trying to drag any data into the D: drive (my burner). Hadn't changed any settings, cant figure this shit out. Using Verbatim media, pioneer 112d latest firmware. arcaz Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 the above log is 2 different burn attempts, I accidently put a burn failed disc in on the first one.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 The 112 has always had issues with those discs. The 1.22 firmware was supposed to have fixed that but perhaps it only works at the faster speeds (i.e. 16x / 18x).

It's working at 6x max at the moment. Wish I had known the 112 didnt like verbatim before I bought the new burner, since i already had over 100 of the verbatim blanks oh well
