I need some information on what I am doing WRONG!

I have created a short 5 min. video on my computer using my JVC Digital; after I arranged it on my computer and had it exactly like i wanted ...i wanted to

burn it to a dvd....for some reason my toshiba is not recognizing the dvd, it keeps telling me to insert dvd.....I am using Ulead software and I also tried it on Windows video...just sending straight to DVD...nothing seems to work....I have tried it on DVD-R; DVD+R and DVD+RW.....can anyone help with this????

thanks!

HMmmmmmmmmmmmmm

could be a number of things

1st guess

toshibaset top player doesn't like brand of disc

2nd

settings in ulead software

I use pinnacle studio 11, they have a user forum, full of people that have already encountered ALL the problems , and all the cures

ulead probably has a user forum also, (just google ulead-sort your way to the forum for your software)

"there is no better cure then other people using the same program"

Just want to copy video file to disk.

U-lead seems to accept it...feel like it is my toshiba that won't read it. Not sure.

I have tried every avenue.

You think it could be the U-lead program itself? Had to send my 1st one back because manufactor said may have defect.

But my window movie program won't let me burn either.

It is really driving me crazy...thanks!

HAD TO SEND 1ST COPY OF ULEAD BACK??

I'm guessing, your just learning to make dvds with the program

Took me a while with pinnacle, there were some problems with the program, but at the user forum, other people had encountered the same problem, and discovered a work around.

ulead has several programs, I'm not sure all their video editors will burn a dvd

have you tried playing your video with windows media player?

what is the file extension?

myvideo.???
