Gene Rayburn Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 The other day, my brother installed IMGBurn on his MacBook Pro (via Windows XP/Boot Camp). He then went to Add/Remove Programs to uninstall it, but after doing so, his computer has been lagging to the point where you can't use it. What happens is the "System" process in Task Manager takes up 100% CPU useage (or as much as it can get), something which should never happen (usually System is <5% if anything at all). Is there any way IMGBurn could have caused this? Could there be any drivers left over which are causing this? Thanks in advance
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 ImgBurn doesn't have any drivers, it's an exe, a text file an a couple of wav files - that's it! Take a look at the system using Process Explorer (google it). It might show you a bit more info.
