I have backed up a bunch of games using xbox backup creator without problems at all, however when it comes to burning I have made 6 coasters so far, buy trying different things suggested in forums I have tried a variety of burning programs but mostly imgburn. I am using verbatim dvd+r dl and am quite annoyed at the amount of money i'm wasting The burning process reaches about 50% then comes up with an error. LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 It's not a nice thing to hear but you really need to get another drive - that or hope there's a firmware update available to fix all your problems. Laptop drives are always useless so go for an external usb/firewire one.

dontasciime Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Had a search for firmware I take it yours is a Toshiba lappy. Tried to search on Tosh site but without model number of laptop etc pointless. Those drives as mentioned above are terrible and look to getting a usb2 external drive or build your own.
