Login problem

I'm using some beta build of Opera and I get logged out after some period (half a day, maybe more - without closing the browser) so I was wondering if any Fx/IE users experience the same.

No problem here with Firefox 2.0.0.9, Opera 9.24 or IE6. The only time I get automatically logged out is when the IP address of my connection changes.

Ahh, this could be the problem for me too, I didn't think of it.

Yeah, that's a bit of a pain. If I wanna login from my laptop, it logs me out here on my desktop and vice versa.

 

Wish that could change.

Ahh you must have dynamic IP's or something.

 

There's an option on the board to enabled 'stronghold' cookies that's enabled by default.

 

Turning it off obviously compromises security but if it's an issue for people I guess I could try it out?

My IPs are static but the laptop obviously is different to the desktop, for some reason.

 

Be good to try just regular cookies.

I get that on various comps once in a while I just figured the board software had been updated and simply log back in

Perhaps force deletion of the current cookie and then give it a good test.

 

Let me know if it's no better cus I'll re-enable them!

I just switched the work connection with the home one on my laptop and I didn't get logged out.

That relaxation seems to work for me. I can login on both PCs independently now. Thanks!
