concerned807 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I'm convinced it's DVD9 I want to backup my movies on. I am going to stock a few hundreds of Verbatim MKM-001s (2.4x) as recommended by many reputable forums. I will be burning DVD9 media using ImgBurn software and NEC ND-4550A drive. The problem is I am currently working at Hong Kong where cheap media and fake ones are common place. I wonder if you could kindly identify this Verbatim being sold is the real Verbatim, MKM-001s (2.4x). The first picture shows Verbatim MKM-001 from supermedistore.com - a highly reputable store in the US. I'd think that is the real one. The next three pictures show Verbatim MKM-001 from a reputable store in Hong Kong from which I will be buying. As far as I can tell both Verbatims are the same and real. Can you identify and advise if the Verbatim shown on the Hong Kong store's picture the real thing? The Verbatim sold at the Hong Kong store is made in Singapore. Thank you for advising
dontasciime Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Hard to say but from the 3rd piccy It says made in Singapore. Why not buy 10 on express delivery use them, if they are OK then buy more.
