Hello,

I'm getting this sector error when trying to make a image from a retail DVD. It is not copy protected, but it's not brand new.

I'm not sure where that sector is...maybe it has a scratch there? Any ideas? Thanks :)

Not much you can do really. If it's scratched and the drive won't read it, you'll either have to keep retrying until (if ever) it does, or click the ignore button and hope it can read the sector after that one.

If you have a different drive, try it in that too.

It worked on another Plextor drive....the 740a IDE First drive was 755a, SATA a newer one. Now why is that? Seems weird to me.
