Hello,

 

Does this DVD have a layer break or is it seamless? Does the part I made blue letters mean anything?

I didn't burn this DVD Video yet....it is retail. Thanks.

All double layer discs have a layer break. The layer break is a physical thing.

 

As for being seamless or not (and assuming it's a DVD Video disc), you'd need to examine the IFO's to find out.

 

Oh and no the blue bit doesn't mean anything - it's normal for that type of media (PTP DL).

And no way on God's green earth can a PTP break be seamless. The laser needs to go all the way back to the hub, focus on layer 1, find the right track and sector and then get a move on. The buffers have long run dry while all this is happening.

Use PgcEdit - you can see in the main movie the non-seamless cell.

 

However, IIRC, when ImgBurn sets a layer break, the cells other than the LB will be set to seamless.
