change the speed from maximum speed to 8x?

hi, folks good evening!

I love the imgburn a lot, but I don't know to to change the speed from maximum speed to 8x? Is that possible?I would appreciate your helpeful hint how to change the 8x speed which is a mandatory speed to work up a linux dixtro called big linux. Best Regards. Thanks. :sweating:

wonder how the mid thing in imgburn works with cd's

 

Haven't tried with CD's, but I don't know why they would be any different....they all have MID's

After a little research it appears that CD's use ATIP (Absolute Time in Pregroove) vs. the MID system in place for DVD's. I just always assumed that CD's, being media in the same respect that DVD's are media, would contain a similar way of identifying the manufacturer. I learn something everyday.
