DOES THE BOOKTYPE NEED SETTING WITH PIONEER 112D?

i was just wondering if the pioneer 112d , with the pioneers 1.09 firmware

is auto booktype setting to dvd-rom?

do i need to change this in imgburn?

if so how

AFAIK it only auto bitsets DVD+R dual layer to DVD-ROM, but you can't make it bitset +R or +RW discs.

Standard firmware only dual layer + to DVD-ROM

 

Or you can crossflash to buffalo firmware to use DVD+r /rw to DVD-ROM

 

Or you can load a firmware into http://ala42.cdfreaks.com/MCSE/MediaCodeSpeedEdit.zip and tick DVD-ROM box SAVE and flash drive to allow +R/RW to DVD-ROM on Pioneer drives 109, 110, 111, 112 etc
