riping interactive dvd's?

hi can i use imgburn to back up some interactive dvd's?

i tryed read mode but got an error

i will post the error later

Imgburn won't read from any copy protected source...so if the disc (interactive) has encryption on it you will need to look at other avenues to get it on your HDD.

i copyed it the interactive dvd to my hardrive using the latest clonedvd 2 and anydvd working in the background

i made an iso file 7.5 gb

then i tryed to burn it back with imgburn (i turned off anydvd as imgburn reqested)

write mode then loaded my iso 7.5 gb and inserted my verb dl disc inserted

and went to start the burn but got this message

 

optimal 1 data zone start lba none found (vts05)

this image has not been mastered correctly for burning onto a dl (opt track path) disc

none of the cells meet the dvd video specification criteria for a potential layerbreak possition

do you want to continue

 

so i canceled

any ideas?

You are working with an ISO? I'm not familiar with the programs you are using and would assume they would output a VIDEO_TS folder, if this is the case you should be using "Build" mode. You should be given the option to place the layer break in the optimal position.
