dontasciime Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 change your IDE cable use an 80 wire one, even if your already using 80 wire replace it and as above fix any dma issues that may be present
Holm1 Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 I have uninstalled the IDE controller now and reinstalled it I have also checked in BIOS so it's configured as auto Will try burning another copy now, Will tell in about 30min if it worked or not

volvofl10 Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 beware of the ones made in India, the quality of them is debatable compared with the Singapore ones. would suggest you stick to ones made in Singapore if you can get them .The Indian manufacturing process is done by a 3rd party and probably not quite up to the standards we have come to expect from verbatim for Dual Layer media we recommend; Verbatims with the MKM-001 dye/ink, made in Singapore ( NOT India). burn at 2.4x and set booktype to DVD-ROM
