Only just recently I have burn 4 dvd movies that do not seem to play on my dvd player, but will player on my computer on which I used to burn the dvd's, I have success with burning up until this point. Could this be a media problem? please help

those ritek discs are no good. grab yourself some verbatim or taiyo yuden discs and try again

And remember that dvd drives operate on a byte by byte basis whereas stand alone devices, while similar, apply different rules to playing back media. You can google the differences if you want further info...but they are different in application.
