Schweino Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Hi All, When I read ImgBurn now supports gamecube images in the format of .gcm or .iso files, I allmost wet myself. And indeed, it does work with all single game images, but when you try to burn a multi-game image, ImgBurn states that it is an "invalid or unsupported image file format". Any hints how to get this working?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Any hints how to get this working? Nope, none at all! I guess the person who provided the info the first time around didn't take those images into account.
Schweino Posted January 9, 2006 Author Posted January 9, 2006 Ok, that's a shame. Let me know if I can help out by detailing the multi-game images specs. Know that we are onto this subject, why do Dreamcast images in the Diskjuggler (.cdi) format give these same error messages?
Bromius Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Because they're not supported. Any chances of these type of discs being supported? I could provide a sample ISO. Or how would I go about getting the specs of this ISO format? Thanks!!!! Bromius
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 You can email the first 5 meg of it and I'll see what I can do.
Bromius Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 You can email the first 5 meg of it and I'll see what I can do. I snipped the first 5 megs: dd if=ngc-multi-001.gcm of=ngc-multi-001.gcm.5m bs=1024 count=5120 and it has been emailed to support atthesiteof img burn dotdot com. (I'm sure you're already getting spam to that email, but maybe this won't make it worse). Thanks for being willing to look at it. For all I know the utility that creates this ISO may be doing something "wrong." Bromius
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Ok cheers, I found the file format via google and have added support for it.
Bromius Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Ok cheers, I found the file format via google and have added support for it. Awesome! Can't wait for the next release. I use ImgBurn for all my image burning, so I was a little distressed when I found a format that it wasn't handling. :-D Bromius
