That happens when one tries to Erase Disc (Quick or Full doesn't matter) with a 'non-rewritable/reported as Unknown by drive' disc: ImgBurn asks you what type it should be, then it proceeds to erase/format the disc based solely on the information provided by the user. You can even do it without any disc in the drive.

Looks like exactly what mmalves said. (Before anyone asks...ImgBurn works that way on purpose - so it can try and erase discs when the drive is messed up and reporting bogus info).

lol what was I smoking all I saw was dvd-ram as well as the non existent maxell media code + all the write speeds It looked like my Pio 111 with 6 -12x ram
