PROBLEMS WITH MOVIES FREEZING AFTER BURNING TO A DISC WITH IMGBURN .

I have burned over a dozen discs using imgburn and most of them freeze throughout the film and I keep my writing speed at 4x and use hp advent discs which is a good brand and was told to update imgburn so maybe this would help. I use VSODIVXTODVD to create a video-ts first before burning with imgburn and was told to update the firmware on my burner but this doesn,t seem like an east task as it,s stated at the site I went to If I use the wrong firmware it could create problems so any help on this matter I would appreciate .

all the HP branded disks I have used burned poorly in premium dvd burners with good firmware and on my computers

It doesn't matter who the discs are branded by. If the dye they're using is rubbish then they'll still be rubbish.
