Digerati Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Hello I figured out how to burn from VMware (by changing the virtual optical drive to scsi from ide) but when I burn to it I always get corrupt burns. I've tried the SPTI and Nero WINASPI32 with both producing verified bad burns. Just some details: XP Pro SP2 with latest updates, running as a guest in VMware 6.0.2.59824, using host Samsung SH-S203B. Edited January 10, 2008 by Digerati
mmalves Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Please post the log from those burns (you can find them at Help/ImgBurn Logs).

JasonFriday13 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Your +RW might be stuffed. After about 100 rewrites, my Verb +RW gave up and didn't write in some of the first sectors. Get some Verbatim (DataLife Plus) or Taiyo Yuden discs, they are some of the best you can buy.
dontasciime Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 try a full erase then try on non vm machine
