HayDegha0917
Using ImgBurn, I created an ISO file from multiple video files (MPG, AVI, WMV). I then burned the ISO to a single-layer DVD-RW. However, when I go to play the DVD in my home DVD player, only one of the files shows up in the title menu and that's the only one that plays. Am I doing something wrong? I looked at the size of the ISO and it looks right. I also looked at the DVD in Windows Explorer and I can see all the files on the DVD. The file that plays is in the middle of the list. Really stumped. Thanks for any help, Ara
chewy
welcome to the forum maybe that file is the only one your player supports, not even all avi's will play, it depends upon the player and how the avi was made computers can play almost anything
barakandl
Most players will only handle mpeg1 or 2 if the files are just thrown on a disk and put in a players. Look into authoring DVDs or vcds. TMPGenc dvd author is good, nero's is pretty decent and simple to use as well.

I ended up converting my WMVs to MPEGs and that did the trick. I guess I was under the impression that transcoding converted the files into a standard DVD format. Thanks for the input!
