fluhartz Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 hello all, New guy here and I am a little confused... I have been scanning this forum getting help with burning. I was just wondering what causes the like little green specs when I watch the movies on my dvd player. OK...I'm am using convertXtoDVD to convert them....then I just burn them to dvd using build mode and all of the settings described in the guides. I use a LiteOn 20X internal burner, and Sony dvd's When I watch the dvd's on my computer in the windows media player they are perfect quality and I watched one at my inlaws house on an older dvd player and it was perfect. I brought the dvd home and put it in mine and there were the green specs.... Is it my dvd player??? My TV ??? 42" 1080i Hitachi Plasma Ultravision Toshiba DVD player...it's about a year old... I guess I just am really new at this and don't really understand a lot of the little details about the processes.... So any help would be greatly appeciated...... Thanks in advance.... Flu
dontasciime Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 probably due to poor conversion. Put a normal bought dvd in see if it goes, then go google on how to backup your dvd then test backup
