Poveron Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Sorry, when you don't understand me, my english is very poor. I have ImgBurn v2.3.2.0, sometimes, when I burn a DVD (I burn mini-DVD's), the Windows Freeze (I can't move the pointer of mouse, too) and I Lose the disc. The program always freeze the Windows while I'am making the Lead-In. Thanks.
Poveron Posted January 18, 2008 Author Posted January 18, 2008 (edited) The computer freezes before I can catch a log. EDIT: I discover another thing: Sometimes the computer freezes when I insert any CD or DVD. Or when I erase a CD-RW or DVD-RW. LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 You have general issues with your machine, it's best you fix those before blaming programs. Check your motherboard BIOS is up-to-date, check your motherboard/ide drivers are up-to-date. Check the firmware on your drives is up-to-date. Follow the post in the FAQ about resetting DMA (i.e. uninstall your IDE controller from within Device Manager). Failing all that, reinstall your operating system.
lmao2k Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I can't remember if XP has an event viewer or not, but if it does check the Application and Systems events for any issues too
