Brilliant Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Hi all, I'm totally new to ImgBurn, but I see it has potential. ;o) One thing annoys me, though. I use DVD+RW as DVD ROM, because I often 'recycle' them. When ImgBurn starts burning, it tells me the disk has to be formatted. OK, but this operation lasts forever (14 min. or so), whereas Nero does it all in 14 seconds. Is there some secret tweek somewhere to avoid this waste of time? Thanks.
blutach Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Search the forum to find out why it's best to have the full format done - this has been discussed many times before. However, if you are happy to have a disk not correctly formatted, then Tools - Settings - Write - Prefer Properly Formatted +RW (UNTICK). OK and you're done. Regards
