Traveler Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Good day everyone I downloaded the program and tried to create a disk image of my partition "C" - trying to understand the guide on the website on this topic but I cannot make heads or tails of it. I used the "Build" option successfully (I believe). When I tried to use the Write option it requested a file to open - but could not find any. Can somebody just give me a short step by step process for making an ISO image of a disk partition and how to write it to my DVD disk (dual layer). Thanks everyone and have a great weekend.
dontasciime Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 ImgBurn is not designed to do this. When you used build mode it saved an output iso wherever you told it to, that would be the file to open. You cannot use the burn't disc to restore your c partition if thats what your after from the resulting disc

I will look into it tomorow. As for writing to a CD/DVD I have software that will do this.
