lexx Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 hi when i record 2 files on DVD+R disc after they was recorded i saw in log file this Finalising Disc does imgburn Finalising Disc - all disc - what if i whant add few another files on DVD+R - what i need to do with imgburn in options for my disc start recorded in multisession mode and not Finalising ? and what means DVD+R Finalise Disc (Min. Radius) what this option mean in imgburn ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 ImgBurn always finalises discs when they're burnt. That kind of mutisession is not possible and you'll have to use a different tool I'm afraid. The option in the settings is so that no matter how much (little) you burn on a DVD+R, it'll tell the drive to pad it out to a pre-definded amount (roughly 1gb I think). This helps make it more compatible with readers. It's nothing to do with the issue you're facing.
lexx Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 but why so much years imgburn exist and not support multisession ? all other kind of programs support multi session
lexx Posted February 20, 2008 Author Posted February 20, 2008 and other question if i Record in imgburn DVD+-RW disc its Finalising to ?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I've no real interest in implementing multisession support as I personally feel it's a waste of time. If I want my files on media where I can keep changing them then I'll use a USB pen or maybe mess around with a FAT32 formatted DVDRAM disc.

Thats so true,,,, i mean, i've never had to use NERO Burning Rom's multi-session option! It's useless in my opinion... If you think you'll need to add or remove file often then, just use a USB Stick.... There so cheap $ these days... like 20$ for 8GB.... edited by eSkRo: sorry for necro bumping that thread....
