Sony DW-Q31A LiteOn SHW-16H5S Not setting Booktype

Hi Everyone,

 

I have run a few searches and cannot find the solution to this, I have burner Sony DW-Q31A Burner I have discovered that it is the same as the LiteOn SHW-16H5S drive.

 

I have downloaded the latest version of IMG Burn and although in the options I have asked it to set the booktype to DVD ROM it is not doing it , I went to Tools/Settings/Write/Auto Change Booktype but it does not change the booktype, Nero does, and so does DVDFAB so where am I going wrong, the drive does support bitsetting/Booktyping.

The Auto is for LG/ Samsung

 

For yours you need to click the little book icon at bottom right and the liteon tab and set it from there.

 

Or tools/drive/change book type

In the booktype window, hit the advanced button and do what it says.

 

ImgBurn needs to be told that your Sony drive is really a LiteOn.
