vagg Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 k...Not to be dumb but...... If I have a avi file can I burn it to a dvd disk that I can play in a home dvd player? Or only I can make iso files or store data? If I can burn avi movies please give info or link on how to.. tks..
mmalves Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 You'll need to convert your AVI file to DVD-Video (which plays on any standard DVD player) and you can do that using DVD Flick
dontasciime Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 If your home dvd player plays mpeg4/ xvid/ divx you just need to burn as is. test using a cdr and a file that will fit to 700 meg and see if your player picks it up
shpirtshipe Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) It is possible to burn you divx (avi) format movies onto a CD+/-R or DVD+/-R directly without having to convert it to DVD format. Tested this myself and played the film successfully on my DVD player. Your DVD Player must have the capability to play Divx format movies otherwise it will not work Edited July 23, 2008 by shpirtshipe
