shamoo Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 hello all, i'm new to using imgburn and have a few questions to ask on whats the best way to burn a d/l dvd? firstly i backed up superman returns using dvd decrypter so whats is the best way to burn that file? because i was reading on the guides part and came accross build? whats is this used for? and is it a better way for burning the dvd rather than going straight to write? i used to just use decrypter to read and write the dvd but was told imgburn is better.
blutach Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Build mode is the way to write your project files (IFO/VOB/BUP) to disc. Simply select the folder that your project is in. If you have an ISO, use write mode. Perhaps the EZ Picker screen can help you out more. Please note that you should use Verbatim 2.4x +R DL media. MKM-001-00 Made in Singapore. Also, it is best not to refer to ripping on this forum. Regards
shamoo Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 thanks for the reply, i WAS using phillips untill i started noticing a few were getting stuck at about the 2nd layer part, and after doing some research i have heard a lot about Verbatim and even mentioned the Made in Singapore part, my questions are, why Singapore? and also i'm from the UK is there any sites that u know off that ship or in the uk that sell that spacific disk? are these ok? http://svp.co.uk/category/double_layer 2nd page half way down http://www.dvdshoponline.co.uk/Verbatim_DVD.html 8th one down
blutach Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 The Made in India ones are said to be inferior to the Singaporean ones. Regards
shamoo Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 how can you tell if the're made in Singapore?
Cynthia Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 It should be written on the box as 'Made in Singapore'.
LOCOENG Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 lol as simple as that, thanx 'course, if ordering online you could always ring up the vendor and ask them to look for you.
blutach Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 LOL, as if they would. They hardly know how to read loco! (I am overgeneralising here, as I know we all have found some real good online suppliers - eg SVP in the UK and pcx here). Regards
LOCOENG Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 That is if they even have access to the goods they are selling at the call center.
