LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Does it now do this with all discs you use? Do you have any *different* discs to the Sony ones you say you're using? Even a rewritable will do for testing. What have you changed since it last worked ok? (Assuming it has worked ok at some point of course!) Have you checked with whoever makes your PC that the drive has the latest firmware on it? It seems like a bit of a drive bug to me, that's not a status code it should be returning and I've never seen the issue before - nor has Google so it would seem, I just did a quick search.
rustynails Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 L-UK thanks for your interest. I will try some of my DVD -RW (TDK) I have been unable to acquire a firmware update for this drive type. I only discovered IMGBURN about 2 months ago but it has worked without a problem up until now. I will post again after i have tried the TDK DVD -RW's Thanks
dontasciime Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Seems like it thinks there is sub channel data to read. Maybe it's a bug in any dvd filter, have you tried burning it with it disabled or removed
