neoME Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Hi! I have a Samsung 182D Drive and burn my double layer images usualy with imgburn. Now I have a big problem: I wanna burm my image on a ricoh DL (dvd+r) disk with 2x speed. But everytime I start the burn process, Imgburn writes with 4x speed. With this speed the DVD is hard to read..... Is there any way to convince Imgburn to write at 2x speed.... Thx in advance!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 This is a drive / firmware / media thing. Look at the 'Supported Write Speeds' text in the info section on the right of the main window - or in the log during/after a burn.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 If you rewrite the drive's firmware, yeah I guess so!
