cucoarac Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I want to know how can you override the burning speed on Verbatim DL 8x., because the minimum speed for writing them is 4x. But I want to write them at 1x or 2x max.
mmalves Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 It's the burner/firmware combination that determines how fast/slow you can burn a disc with a certain dye. Besides, slower isn't always the better. May I ask what problem(s) you're having that you think could be solved by using a slower burn speed? By the way, changing strategies with MCSE can severely compromise the burn quality, possibly worse than your current burner/firmware combo at 4x.
