DVD name remains after burning

hello all

 

i've started using Imgburn, and i'm sofar happy with it.

 

i wonder if this is a bug, or it's somrthing i'm doing wrong.

after burning a disc (first Build iso, then write mode), after the whole process is finished, the name of the volume remains when i go to MY COMPUTER. refresh doesn't change it either.

so unless i put another cd/dvd disc in the drive, it appears as if there's a disc inside.

even if i put Another Disc w/ data, the NAME stays the same, it's the name of the last thing i wrote w/ imgburn!!

That's a Windows bug. Restart with no disc in drive will clear that.

it's not a windows bug. no other progs do it.

 

i actually worked it out:

 

tools > settings > device > auto insert notification, this must be checked.

So it was your bug then.

 

If it's not enabled how is windows supposed to know you've changed discs?
