Type of media disk to use?

OK, I'm new at ripping DVD's. My questions is when do I use reqular DVD+R or DVD+R DL?

 

Duel layer DVD's are expensive, does that mean they are any better. Do they just hold more data?

They hold about 90% more data. Use them when you don't want to compress the video.

 

Only use high quality Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. And only use Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore DL media.
