mmalves Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 That image was incorrectly authored. Have you by any chance used DVD Shrink to create it? Even if you didn't, try this: use Daemon Tools (or similar) to mount that image to a virtual drive then follow this guide (use the VIDEO_TS folder that's inside the virtual drive as the source).
omgwtfbbq Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 (edited) I used IMG Burn to make it along w/ Any DVD. Also it put out both a .ISO and .MDF so should I put both files in the VIDEO_TS folder? Edited April 2, 2008 by omgwtfbbq
mmalves Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 If I recall correctly AnyDVD used to remove the layer break information (don't ask me why because I don't know ), so that's probably why you're getting that message. Please read again my post above: when you mount that image to a virtual drive, it'll act like just like a real drive from which you'll be able to add its VIDEO_TS folder to ImgBurn, pick a layer break and then burn your disc
blutach Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I 21:34:08 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: CMC MAG-D02-00) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x) And, as you have observed, you should get rid of this junk and get some Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore. I doubt AnyDVD would kill the info in the MDS. Something's NQR. Regards
omgwtfbbq Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Actually using a virtual driv fixed the problems. Didn't use Daemon Tools since I've heard its riddled w/ viruses so i got Virtual Clone Drive. Worked perfectly. Thanks for the help Mmalves. And the TDK DL DVD+R disks really aren't that bad, got 25 for $10 (I get a discount at Bestbuy.
blutach Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Where'd you hear that? It is not riddled with anything!!! It works very well and is totally free! It does offer some google bar on installation, but just say no. Regards
