FlYeRoNe
Fine on mine and given that it went over network and to a Usb drive @ that, the speed it reached is (acceptable) especially as network and usb do not mix. How LIGHTNING UK says my ideas out. This is the one and only burner from the BenQ-Company with such problems. All my other BenQ burner and Pioneer and Plextor's have not such problems with ImgBurn. Only these two DW1650 make me problems. I have no ideas where i searching my problems!
FlYeRoNe
I 18:01:50 Writing LeadIn... I 18:01:52 Writing Session 1 of 1... (1 Track, LBA: 0 - 2285847) Why needs my DW1650 37sec's to write the LeadIn and yours only 2seconds? This is a huge difference! I 14:20:16 Writing LeadIn... I 14:20:53 Writing Session 1 of 1... (1 Track, LBA: 0 - 2285455) Is this maybe a criterion for my problems?
dontasciime
your drive failed with OPC Enabled mine did not, thats why it was quicker. btw did you uninstall the enhanced host controller from device manager under universal serial bus controllers. it will detect your hardware again on a reboot / best to restart even if it finds new hardware straight away b4 reboot, you could try changing the usb cable as well. Not likely either of those are at fault but my usb has stuck at 4x b4 long time ago and only fix was to unistall EHCI (the enhanced port) another thing to try maybe power supply to your enclosure is not the right one and does not have enough ampage as not all external drive power supplies are the same.(especially if you have a few different makes you may have mixed up the PSU's) also if your enclosure uses prolific 3507 chip update the firmware in enclosure as if i remember rightly there was an issue with Benq drives and I think the 1650 which a firmware update to enclosure fixed. [edit] i just looked at prolific firmware and it was a benq 1640 and another benq but not 1650) still if you are using enclosure with pl3507 it might help to make sure chipset is up to date. Another thing make sure you have any drive in any enclosure set to master and not slave and that it is using 80 wire short ide cable.
Cynthia
Looked at same old post about BenQ devices. One poster suggest to enable the OverSpeed function.
LIGHTNING UK!
Yeah try enabling overspeed, disabling solid burn for known and unknown media and also disabling WOPC.

dontasciime
your benq might not like the mcc media especially if they are china faked ones you got any 8x disc's or any other 16x media
LIGHTNING UK!
The OPC entry you see in the log is not the same thing as the WOPC setting in the 'Advanced Settings' screen. Please note that I said DISABLE, not enable. Turn off the 'Perform OPC Before Write' option again if you've just turned it on.
dontasciime
It would be better if you did not edit your posts and just reply with what you just tried
