copy dvd to dvd

Hi, I have a home made video I burned onto a dvd, I want to copy it strait onto a blank dvd, so in Imgburn I clicked on Discovery,

I put the video I wanted copied into the dvd-rom and the blank dvd into the dvd-rw every thing went ok, Imgburn told me it was successful but the disk is still blank, can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong, or is it not possible to copy a dvd to dvd

No - use read mode then write mode. All discovery does is write a test disc of 0s.
