jarsonic Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hey, When trying to create a CUE file (Tools > Create CD CUE File...) to burn a wavpack audio image, I keep getting this error: The wavpack file plays and burns fine with Burrrn and with foobar2000. Any ideas what's up? It's a regular wavpack file with an embedded cuesheet (all the tracks are in one .wv file). I'm using ImgBurn 2.4.1.0.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 As it says, you need the directshow filter. CoreWavPack v1.1.1 is the latest. http://coreforge.org/frs/?group_id=28 That said, there's actually a bug in my code where one of the functions doesn't treat the WV files as a file that needs decoding. It's fixed for 2.4.2.0 which I'm sure will be out any day now.
jarsonic Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Ah, I didn't realize I'd need a filter; I thought the support was native. Gotcha! Thanks.
mszargar Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Apparently ImgBurn has some other issues with WavePack too. It keeps malfunctioning exactly in the middle of burning process when burning a WavePack+CUE combination, saying "Error in accessing memory space" or something like that. Again maybe it is related to the decoding problem. It cost me a number of CDs to realize that there is a bug... Mahmood As it says, you need the directshow filter. spinningwheel Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 mszargar; Hi and welcome to the forum. Please post an ImgBurn logfile.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I found this bug ages ago and it's fixed for the next version. Currently it's treating wv files as if they don't need to be run though directshow to decode them.
