I am burning a DVD+R DL,

Here is my drive info:

So I burn a DVD+R DL disc at speeds 2.4, and this pops up every minute:

I 08:57:57 Writing Sectors...

W 08:58:08 Waiting for buffers to recover...

W 08:58:29 Waiting for hard disk activity to reach threshold level...

Does this mean I have a bad drive or what?

No, it means the program can't read from the hard drive quickly enough.

That normally happens because you don't have DMA enabled and your machine is totally bogged down trying to run the drive in PIO mode but it could be something else.

Follow the post in the FAQ about uninstalling the IDE controller to fix DMA and then try again.
