castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 (edited) Hi there! Nice to see you here LIGHTING UK!... and in Doom9 I have a problem trying to load a Cue Sheet (cue+wav) from one of my CDs. It seems to be that the cue files made by EAC are not 100% compatible with ImgBurn. The cue+wav files works very good with EAC and Nero but when I try to load the cue to ImgBurn, nothing happen. Here is my cue file: REM DISCID 5C0D0208 REM COMMENT "ExactAudioCopy v0.99pb4" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" TITLE "Beethoven" FILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.wav" WAVE TRACK 01 AUDIO TITLE "Track01" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO TITLE "Track02" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 10:03:30 TRACK 03 AUDIO TITLE "Track03" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 20:10:33 TRACK 04 AUDIO TITLE "Track04" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 23:40:23 TRACK 05 AUDIO TITLE "Track05" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 30:43:73 TRACK 06 AUDIO TITLE "Track06" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 39:48:57 TRACK 07 AUDIO TITLE "Track07" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 46:56:66 TRACK 08 AUDIO TITLE "Track08" PERFORMER "Mosaiques" FLAGS DCP INDEX 01 50:53:60 Some ideas? castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 (edited) Hi. Here I've the cue from the same disc created by ImgBurn: CDTEXTFILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.cdt" TITLE "Mosaiques-Beethoven op18 no 1&4" PERFORMER "Quatuor Mosaiques" COMPOSER "L. v. No tracks, no log, nothing. Please help! EDIT: Talking about compatibility, the 4th line: "COMPOSER" (and the rest of COMPOSER lines in the tracks) produces an error in EAC and Nero as well. LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Is it just this one disc? The cue is fine because I just made a dummy wav and it loaded it up fine. I can only assume this is something to do with pathnames. Are all the files in the same folder? Obviously I need to add an error message into whatever's failing about it, but I can't tell what that is until we dig into this a little deeper.
castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 Are all the files in the same folder? Of course. I can perfectly load the cue file into Nero or EAC. Both programs see the wav file and show me the dialog window to burn the CD. I can try with another CD... I'll let you know.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Just to be clear, if you load imgburn, switch to Write mode, browse for and select the CUE file - it doesn't do anything? It doesn't appear in the 'Source' box at all?
castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 (edited) Here is another CD. Same result. No action in ImgBurn and no log. As you see in the attachment, both files in the same folder. Here is the cue: FILE "Bloch.wav" WAVE TRACK 01 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 01 03:07:17 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 01 06:18:17 TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 00 10:31:34 INDEX 01 10:46:05 TRACK 05 AUDIO INDEX 00 13:46:51 INDEX 01 13:47:30 TRACK 06 AUDIO INDEX 00 16:31:67 INDEX 01 16:35:42 EDIT: After I load the cue file in Write mode nothing happen. castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 To make it more clear, that's what I see after I load the cue file in Write mode:
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 To rule out any file name weird goings on, could you put those 2 files in the root directory (i.e. C:\) and load it from there please?
castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 I've tried a cue+bin from the CD, and it's the same thing... no reaction.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 ok, I've put some more error messages in weird places that could make it fail (silently), can I send you a test version to your forum email address? btw, by the sounds of it, no CUE file will load for you - correct? But you can load other image files just fine?
castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 can I send you a test version to your forum email address? Sure, anytime. btw, by the sounds of it, no CUE file will load for you - correct? But you can load other image files just fine? Right. I've just created an nrg image with Nero and I loaded it into ImgBurn without problems.
castellanos Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 (edited) I've edited the cue file (first post) in order to see if at least ImgBurn can see the ape file. I've converted the wav file into an ape and saved it into the same folder. Then I've edited the file line into this: FILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.ape" WAVE Now I get this error message. EDIT: DC-Bass DirectShow filter already installed, even before ImgBurn. Edited May 10, 2008 by castellanos
mmalves Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 FILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.ape" WAVE It should be: FILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.ape" APE
castellanos Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 (edited) It should be:FILE "Mosaiques - Beethoven.ape" APE Uh...??? First of all, if I try that I get exactly the same error. Second: I don't think it should be an "APE" at the end of the line. It has to be a WAVE file, otherwise is not gonna be an Audio CD. Edited May 11, 2008 by castellanos
castellanos Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 Thanks LIGHTNING UK! for your test version. Loading the normal cue+wav into ImgBurn (cue as the first post shows) I get this error:
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Don't worry, ImgBurn accepts APE or WAVE for the file type. It's more for internal usage than anything else. Thanks for the error report, at least I have something to go on now!
castellanos Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Problem solved! Something messed up in the DirectShow filters. Solution: Run "Codec Tweak Tool" for broken filters fix. http://www.codecguide.com/download_other.htm Thanks LIGHTNING UK!
