fino Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Hi, I downloaded the newest version of IMGBURN to record movies and also to make copies for the kiddos, to watch them on a regular DVD, I was trying to record (VTS-Video, Bup file etc.), but a error keeps popping: I'm a beginner on recording DVD, plse help me solve my problem.. By the-way I using DVD+R, RECORDABLE CDS don't know if their good for recording..?

Can you post the full log of that failed burning? It should give some more clues. Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs There is a later firmware for that writer to install if it's a Gateway computer. The firmware is what makes the media/writer to understand each other. http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers...mp;uid=11975959 If you flash/update the firmware: No disc in the writer Tray closed All other programs closed
