Hi, I downloaded the newest version of IMGBURN to record movies and also to make copies for the kiddos,

to watch them on a regular DVD, I was trying to record (VTS-Video, Bup file etc.), but a error keeps popping:

I'm a beginner on recording DVD, plse help me solve my problem..

 

By the-way I using DVD+R, RECORDABLE CDS don't know if their good for recording..?

Hi and welcome to the forum, fino!

 

The problem is that your burning was not very good, the disc can't be read.

 

Can you post the full log of that failed burning? It should give some more clues.

 

Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs

 

There is a later firmware for that writer to install if it's a Gateway computer. The firmware is what makes the media/writer to understand each other.

If you flash/update the firmware:

 

No disc in the writer

Tray closed

All other programs closed
