Hi and welcome to the forum, heszar! :)

Are those Verbatims you got a write error with, Made in Singapore or India? Tried to burn at 2.4x speed?

There is a later firmware for that writer.

If you flash/update it:

No disc in the writer

Tray closed

All other programs closed

Woow thats fast reply, thnx

But any ways update keeps failing (firmware) and I don't have my package label.

Is it possible that my burner lost his spirit?

Thnx for advices...

Yes I'm sure I got the right one

AD7173A is my burner and I got the same firmware update.

When click on update button(after closing all my other apps) my burner begins to flash, after 5 seconds I get mssge that "UPDATE FAILED"

but the green led of my burner keeps flashing and my pc sort of freeze but not totaly freeze's only some apps wont work anymore.

BTW there is no media or what so ever in my burner when im flashing...

greetz :)
