kraml Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I'm running the latest v2.4.1.0 on Windows XP SP3. While before I upgrade to SP3(from SP2), every disc burns fine, but after that, all my discs are now have writing errors when in the write leadin phase. I have tried 4 DVD-R and 1 CD-RW, all the same result. So, can anyone confirm if this is related to XP SP3?
cornholio7 Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 we have 2 computers here running sp3 , no problems here.... could you post the log from your last burn attempt please

dontasciime Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Look for a firmware update for your drive. From google I could find there is a 1.08 firmware but only you know whether your using a dell computer lenovo laptop etc. So see manufacturer of your machine for a firmware update or LG if your drive is not OEM etc.

I am running SP3 with no issues at all.
Nayhova Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 I am also having the same issue. Before installing SP3 I didnt have one issue with buring a single disk but since installing it I have made 4 coasters. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Cynthia Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, Nayhova! Could you post a log from one of the failed burns? You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
